Anaheim Hills is home to several planned communities within Anaheim. Most of the development came in the 1790’s when Texaco Industries planned an expansive and upscale master planned community of 7,000 homes, estates, and townhomes. In 2007, The Irvine Company received approval to build another 2500 homes along the 241-toll road. However, in 2014 they donated the land to the County of Orange to be used as open space.Orange County to its south and southwest, and Riverside County to its southeast.
